Calendar

• First day of class is September 6, 2017. Last day of class is May 24, 2018.

• IOWA Basics National Standardized Testing May 29 and 30 (for those who sign up)

• Nat'l holidays: Labor Day & Memorial Day - no class; MLK, Jr. & President’s Day - class in session.

• Weather & Safety: we follow Collier County Public School System's protocol for school closure.

 

Schedule

• Classes are on Monday, Wednesday & Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

Sparkles Program ages 5-8

10:00-12:00 Language Arts and Math in two groups: ages 5-6 and ages 7-8

12:00-1:00 Lunch, Recess, Silent Reading

1:00-3:00 Science and Social Studies with reading, writing, and math skills in one group

SPARK Program ages 9-14

9:00-10:00 Pre-Algebra

10:00-11:00 Math

11:00-12:00 Language Arts

12:00-1:00 Lunch, Recess, Silent Reading

1:00-2:00 Social Studies   

2:00-3:00 Science

Cost

• $700/month for one student, $1200/month for two students, $1800/month for three students.

• Invoices are sent through FreshBooks on the 1st of the month; payment is due on the 15th.

Lunch/Recess

• There is no cost for the hour-long lunch period; parent volunteers help with supervision.

• Students supply their own lunch and drink.

 

Class Size

• Maximum of 10-11 students per class in order to maintain advantages of smaller class sizes.

• New students will be placed at the level that best suits their needs after an initial assessment.​
