SPARK is a hybrid education center providing classes in Mathematics, Science,
Language Arts, and Social Studies for homeschool students ages 5-14 in Naples, Florida.
Our Mission: To equip students with the knowledge, problem-solving skills, and work
habits that instill a sense of responsibility for their education and a passion for lifelong learning.

Darlene Thiele, M.A.
Director
Math, Science, Language Arts
Ms. Darlene is a licensed teacher with a Master’s Degree and over 30 years
of experience educating children to adults. Her instruction is individualized based on current brain research and differentiated learning styles. Darlene implements a broad range of instructional and technological techniques
to prepare students for 21st Century learning. Most importantly, she promotes a sense of wonder about the world around us and the inherent pleasure that learning provides.
Judy Friel
Primary Program
Ms. Judy is a seasoned teacher with a variety of teaching experiences. She taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and K-5 remedial reading and math in Massachusetts. After moving to Naples, Judy taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 5th grade, and, most recently, Pre-K. Judy provides a classroom that is a second home for her students. She loves children’s literature and is a firm believer in reading aloud. Her goal is to strengthen students' positive self-concept, enthusiasm for discovery, and to instill a lifelong love for learning.
